Unfortunately, while living life, I contracted a debilitating infection in which I came close to losing my life and almost lost my right leg, in the course of saving my life. I am blessed to say that I am still here, and I did not lose life or limb. I still have limitations, but I have not lost my will to stay optimistic for life. After going through that time, I started to look at how to help others to be more courageous in their lives. Not allowing limitations to get in the way of shining bright. Stretching beyond what you think you can do and exceeding dreams and goals.

My career goals led me to complete a master’s degree in learning to advance my skills in leadership development and increase my want to give back through inspiration, motivation, development, and volunteer work. The networking created in my work, helped me build trusting relationships. Through these connections, I have had numerous opportunities to successfully help individuals realize the limitations they allowed others to put on them. Limitations like deciding permission to shine bright is needed by someone else. These amazingly wonderful experiences have supported my education, development, and creation of my Workshops, Blog, and BLISS.​
